Clementine Smoothie
In the winter there are always clementines in the grocery store so we make smoothies with them. They’re so refreshing and welcome this time of year.
In a blender add:
4 peeled clementines
1/4 cup of any kind of milk or yogurt
1/2 banana
1/2 cup of ice
Blend until smooth!.You can add other things like turmeric and ginger to make it really good for you!

Cajun Sweet Potatoes
We didn’t grow them, but since sweet potatoes are in season (winter), I make Cajun Sweet Potatoes and my kids love them. They so good for them too.
Cut potatoes lengthwise in half or in quarters.
Rub with olive oil
Mix together: 1 tsp brown sugar, 1 1/2 tsp paprika, 1/4 tsp each of black pepper, thyme, onion powder, rosemary & garlic powder, 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper. Toss potatoes in the spice mixture. Bake in a cookie sheet at 375 for about an hour. I got this from allrecipes.com
